Pinocchio has made some interesting choices in our reading thus far! We will continue discussing the virtues of honesty, integrity, and wisdom in class. Thank you for preparing for Casey at the Bat Recitations with your scholar.
In Math this week we will review fractions learned in 2nd grade. We will discuss halves and quarters. We will practice writing fractions, comparing, and ordering fractions. We will explore how to add fractions to make a whole. At home, you can support your scholar by incorporating fractions while cooking and/or baking. Give your scholar the opportunity to use the vocabulary associated with fractions and how to create fractions.
This week, we will continue to learn about Vikings. We will focus on Viking Gods and Myths.
Our unit on Habitats is coming to an end. Next week, we will have a review on Tuesday and a final test on Thursday.
